Part time single parent....

So I think everyone knows that my husband is in the United States Marine Corps.... He is currently over seas so that means that I am a single parent while he is gone.... I dont know how single parents do it! I mean Im only doing it for 8 months.... My mother was a single parent for many years to my brother and I and she is a very strong woman! Anyways I havent been away from my daughter since july and that was for one night so my mother in-law said she wanted to keep Emily last weekend, so my mom and I had a girls day! She took me shopping and out for lunch and drinks.... :)  I had a great time! I missed Emily but it was really nice to get a break!

OMG....

So I made a Halloween mini album in one day! Usually it takes me like a month! haha... Im really slow when it comes to making them! But also I usually already have the pictures to put in it, but this time I just made the album and when I get the pictures I can just cut them down and put them in! That was my project for craftingfamily.com today so once they release it I will post lots of pictures :)   Also my daughter had ambilical hernia surgery on Monday and she is healing very nicely and is doing great! She is tough and strong like her mommy and daddy thats for sure! here are some pictures of her on the seditive they gave her.... It made her so funny :)

Last Thursday's project for craftingfamily.com

So on this project I usedMy Minds Eye lost and found Union Square paper. I sprayed the paper with Lindy's Stamp Gang glitz spritz in gold, so it has lots of shimmer to it! I also used Ranger black dauber around the paper to disstress it. I used I am roses flowers and I painted them red and also used the glitz spritz on them. then I used some prima flower sprays and recolections black bling. And some red ribbon and black trim I had in my stash.... I hope you all like this! I put it in a shadow box and it looks awesome! This project was so fun to make!

YAY for more Halloween!

I know you guys are all probably tired of seeing Halloween stuff but here is a tag that I made for craftingfamily.com..... It was released on their blog and Facebook page last week....I used tim holtz distress inks and some stamps I had from last year, I also used broke out my copics and colored in the little girl dressed up as a pumpkin :)  I hope you all like it! I will be posting this weeks maybe tomorrow bc I just sent it in to them.... And I promise its not Halloween!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great Tuesday! For me its a 2 cups of coffee kinda morning! I just dint get enough sleep! I went to Michaels yesterday and got some goodies! Just a couple halloween stickers and a new paper pad! The 12x12 paper pads are 50% off this week!!!! Thats an awesome deal! Hey everyone! I hope you all are having agreat Friday! I got to skype with my hubby this morning so nothing could be better! :)   Just wanted to share my project I did for this week for craftingfamily.com

I made my first ever easel card! I used DCWV paper stack, I just LOVE my happy Huantings cricut cartridge! I used a white gel pen on the witch, Prima bling, and recolections orange bling and trims. Hope you all have a great weekend and I hope that I have inspired you to get into the Halloween season!

Hello everyone! So this weekend hasnt been so nice to me.... My car broke down 2 times and now I think its going to cost us some big money :(   But on a good note we get to grill out today and spend time with family! My daughter's 2nd birthday....

So my little Emily Grace turned 2 this past Sunday. Aug.28th hurricane Irene was here all saturday and I know this birthday will be one for the books! lol... As if it wasnt bad enough that her daddy couldnt be here bc he is over seas but then a hurricane :(   Irene didnt stop us from having a great party for her! I really thank all the people that helped us make her day so special! Here are a couple pictures of her party....
