Part time single parent....

So I think everyone knows that my husband is in the United States Marine Corps.... He is currently over seas so that means that I am a single parent while he is gone.... I dont know how single parents do it! I mean Im only doing it for 8 months.... My mother was a single parent for many years to my brother and I and she is a very strong woman! Anyways I havent been away from my daughter since july and that was for one night so my mother in-law said she wanted to keep Emily last weekend, so my mom and I had a girls day! She took me shopping and out for lunch and drinks.... :)  I had a great time! I missed Emily but it was really nice to get a break!

OMG....

So I made a Halloween mini album in one day! Usually it takes me like a month! haha... Im really slow when it comes to making them! But also I usually already have the pictures to put in it, but this time I just made the album and when I get the pictures I can just cut them down and put them in! That was my project for craftingfamily.com today so once they release it I will post lots of pictures :)   Also my daughter had ambilical hernia surgery on Monday and she is healing very nicely and is doing great! She is tough and strong like her mommy and daddy thats for sure! here are some pictures of her on the seditive they gave her.... It made her so funny :)

Last Thursday's project for craftingfamily.com

So on this project I usedMy Minds Eye lost and found Union Square paper. I sprayed the paper with Lindy's Stamp Gang glitz spritz in gold, so it has lots of shimmer to it! I also used Ranger black dauber around the paper to disstress it. I used I am roses flowers and I painted them red and also used the glitz spritz on them. then I used some prima flower sprays and recolections black bling. And some red ribbon and black trim I had in my stash.... I hope you all like this! I put it in a shadow box and it looks awesome! This project was so fun to make!

YAY for more Halloween!

I know you guys are all probably tired of seeing Halloween stuff but here is a tag that I made for craftingfamily.com..... It was released on their blog and Facebook page last week....I used tim holtz distress inks and some stamps I had from last year, I also used broke out my copics and colored in the little girl dressed up as a pumpkin :)  I hope you all like it! I will be posting this weeks maybe tomorrow bc I just sent it in to them.... And I promise its not Halloween!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great Tuesday! For me its a 2 cups of coffee kinda morning! I just dint get enough sleep! I went to Michaels yesterday and got some goodies! Just a couple halloween stickers and a new paper pad! The 12x12 paper pads are 50% off this week!!!! Thats an awesome deal! I made my first ever easel card! I used DCWV paper stack, I just LOVE my happy Huantings cricut cartridge! I used a white gel pen on the witch, Prima bling, and recolections orange bling and trims. Hope you all have a great weekend and I hope that I have inspired you to get into the Halloween season!

Hello everyone! So this weekend hasnt been so nice to me.... My car broke down 2 times and now I think its going to cost us some big money :(   But on a good note we get to grill out today and spend time with family! Hoping that today I can get a little scrapping on! Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

My daughter's 2nd birthday....

So my little Emily Grace turned 2 this past Sunday. Aug.28th hurricane Irene was here all saturday and I know this birthday will be one for the books! lol... As if it wasnt bad enough that her daddy couldnt be here bc he is over seas but then a hurricane :(   Irene didnt stop us from having a great party for her! I really thank all the people that helped us make her day so special! Here are a couple pictures of her party....

Halloween sign...

Hey everyone Im back with another Halloween project! Here are all the products I used...... Of course I am Roses flowers, and Of course Lindy's Stamp Gang! My 2 favorite companys/products! haha... For the base I used coasters and pattern paper, I used the cricut cartridge Happy Huantings for the font, and I used spellbinders lacey circles. I also used pop dots on the letters and the lacey circles. I used mixed paper collections. I had so much fun making this! My said are you going to decorate my house for Halloween? lol... I cant want to make more stuff! :)  Hope you all like it! Have fun and make some halloween decor!

Hey everyone! I dont know about you guys but I LOVE halloween! Here is a picture of a card I made today... I used TONS of I am Roses flowers and LOTS of Lindy's stamp Gang products! I used American Crafts mini monsters stamp set and K&Company paper, I also emossed using cuttle bugs embossing folder (distressed stripes) I had lots of fun making this card! Cant wait to make some different halloween cards! I will be posting them as I make them with the list of supplies I used :)  thanks for stopping by!

Halloween :)

I LOVE Halloween! And its right around the corner Im alomst done with this sign that I made... Just need to get some chain to hang between them or I could sit it on the mantle like in the picture... What do you think?  Are you guys excited for Halloween? What kinds of things do you like to make?

I used chipboard letters and embossing powder, I am roses flowers, glittler, some trim that I recieved from a friend and Lindys stamp gang and some paint.

Summer Fun

Hey everyone! It has been such a busy summer and I cant believe it is almost over! I have been wroking hard on some 12x12 layouts and a couple other things.... Hope you all have been having a wonderful summer as well! I am thinking about submitting some pictures the I am Roses DT call..... I dont have any expirence but I have free time and craft all the time with their flowers.... I am kind of nervous but I think I will give it a shot! :)

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA again! My husband left to go over sea's 2 weeks ago and my daughter and I moved back in with my parents..... So I have been quite busy! I just altered a couple things yesterday but Im not finished with one of the things... So hopefully today I can finish them and post some pics! So thanks to everyone who has been following me! So pretty here!

It was 86 degrees here today! Me and my daughter went outside and played and went for a walk... :)  I promise one day soon I will have some scrapbooking stuff on here really soon! Hope everyone is enjoying early spring! I know I am! If there is anything you all want me to do or show just comment and let me know... I will try to do it and show you how to do it! :)

sorry for being MIA!

My daughter has been sick again and school is getting stressful! YAY for Friday!

So Happy that today is FRIDAY! :)  I ordered some copic markers this week and they should be here today sometime! I am so excited to try them out.... And on top of that next week is spring break from college for me! So hopefully I can do some scrappin! And tonight is sushi night! WOW... My day just keeps getting better... My husband called me and asked if I wanted him to bring home sushi and I said Uh YEAH!  well I hope to work on some things this week and I will be posting some pics! Oh yeah I almost forgot the city I live in doesnt have a craft store at all.... So I have to drive at least 40 minutes to go to Michaels but this Sunday a Michaels is opening in my city! My next week is going to be so much fun! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Weekend.....

So this weekend has been really nice! I havent really got to scrapbook at all but thats ok... Monday is my anniversary and my husband and I celebrated early. We went out to eat and then to a movie... It was nice to go do something without having our daughter... lol... You moms know what im talking about! "Adult Time" :)
So back to reality, about to go pick up my daughter from her Nana's and then back to the house to study for my Psychology test tomorrow! Wish me luck! Enjoy your Sunday!

Working on a canvas...

So last night my creative juices were flowing! lol... All I got done was painting the canvas and picking out everything I wanted to put on it... I just finished it and I am loving the way it turned out! I used Prima paper, Recolections flowers and bling... Im new to doing canvases and this is only my second one but it was a lot of fun! Hope everyone has a great Thursday! Come on weekend!

Scrap Room

So I have been working on and off all weekend trying to clean my scrap room and I am almost finished! YAY!  I am going to vaccum in the morning once my daughter is awake and then it will be finished! Happy Valentines Day!

Hey everyone! Today is Valentines day and another monday, I have class all day and my husband has the day off... Oh well we celebrated last night :)   Just wanted to let everyone know that I got the Big Shot Pro dies cutting machine and I am so excited! I dont have but one die as of right now... I have a few coming in the mail though! I just wanted to stop by to tell everyone to stop by my Youtube channel and check out my videos, Im about to upload another haul video. Monday's suck!

Hey everyone! Its Monday morning and I am drinking a big cup of coffee! For everyone that doesnt know I am a stay at home mom to my wonderful 17 month old daughter... Up until I had her I worked a full time job and went to college for a while... Well in Jan I started back to school, just 2 classes a week and they are both on Monday.... Mistake on my part! I hate Monday's... lol.... My daughter goes and stays with my grandparents till my mom gets off work and I stay at my mom's house becasue my class doesnt end till 9pm.... I live an hour from my school and my mom lives about 15 minutes from the school.... Anyways that why Monday's suck for me! Comment and tell me why your Monday's suck!

So I did 17 of the 31 challenges... It was so much fun! I didnt get to finish becasue my daughter got really sick then my husband got sick then I did!
